Homeland winning best drama + Claire Danes winning best actress = awesome and so rightly deserved.
So you are complaining about a show you’ve never seen or heard of?
Then I consider you check it out if you haven’t. Don’t get butt-hurt that your favorite show *Cough* American Horror Story *cough* Game of Thrones *Cough* Boardwalk Empire and other shows I don’t know didn’t win for Best TV Show Drama at the Golden Globes or Best Actress in a TV Drama. All In all, I think Breaking Bad is the best show but since it wasn’t nominated I’d personally give the award to Homeland too. Because the writing and characters are all around better than those shows I have seen.
For you guys saying it’s boring it’s not a Game of Thrones/American Horror Story type of show. It’s a psychological thriller show that urges you to think which is more compelling and intense and is more riveting to me than people getting beheaded or people appearing out of nowhere or random sex scenes. In addition, I must add it is much more of a realistic show. Also Claire Danes kills her role as a passionate bi-polar CIA officer.
Face it, Homeland is going to get nominated for Emmys especially Claire Danes(and will possibly win) as well, especially for episode 11 of the series. So get used to this show now.
People who are surprised that Homeland won have obviously never seen Homeland and must go watch it right now because it is very good and they are v e r y behind.

Ever since I could remember I have pushed the opposite sex away even if I was attracted to them. I constantly tell them no even if I don’t mean it, constant ridicule, making them think I am not interested but I am. Then, later as our friendship progressed I have been very slow to make the first move, even though I really wanted too. Next, by the time I go and make and try to make the move they are gone, taken, poof-with someone else making it feel like he has vanished into thin air to me anyways. I have done this countless times and am afraid that if I continue this pattern my life choices will only be that of the spinster or the cat lady. I’ve ruined so many potential relationships or just potential connections with great guys because of the way I am.
Making the first move has always been hard for me. Unless I’m really sure that the guy is actually interested in I don’t make a move at all. I’ve been told by men that I’ve courted that I was actually well composed and they couldn’t tell whether I was into them. This is very odd usually if I’m into a guy I probably won’t look at them and have a very hard time looking at them well at least before we start dating.
I have personally been through a lot, growing up with childhood trauma and abuse and I do think that has some reason as to why I’m very slow when it comes to the opposite sex and has given me a lot of insecurities, but I don’t think that fully has to do with it. The problem is me and that needs to be solved. One of my greatest fears is being alone. Yet, I don’t know what it is that when I encounter someone from the opposite sex that I do like that I am very reluctant in approach or accepting their approach without ignoring or ridiculing them.
I have had relationships before but these relationships were with people I already created close friendships with over the years. I want to learn how to find someone without knowing them for years and building trust with them. It is definitely the hardest thing to go through when you bitch about how hard it is to find someone then someone responds “you’re pretty you shouldn’t have any problems with this”. Yet I do. I really do.
